Henna (Mehndi) is used as body art, colouring and conditioning of hair in India, Middle East and some parts of Africa.
Henna is dry powdered leaves of Lawsonia Inermis, which is commonly grown in tropical climate.

It has been known for centuries but, its origin and history is difficult to track, now a days it is very popular in the western world as a temporary tattoo.
